The Position:

As a result of recent growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our Rail yard team in Wingfield.

This role will support the operations team in the effective and timely movement of all vehicles incoming, outgoing and stored within the Prixcar rail compound.

What you will do:

  • Prepare, load and secure vehicles on rail wagons
  • Unload vehicles off rail wagons
  • Adhere to site procedures and regulations
  • Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for damage and report as required
  • Perform stock take
  • Maintenance of vehicles – i.e. change flat tyres and jump start vehicles where required
  • Report all damages, faulty equipment or accidents when caused or found

What you will bring:

  • Driver license (min. 3 years) essential
  • Reliable and a dedicated person with drive and energy
  • Willing to support your teammates where needed
  • Show initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
  • Proven skills in multitasking, managing your own time and meeting tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Ability to operate mobile plant equipment
