THE POSITION:

As Pre Delivery Technician, the function of this role is to inspect and validate the suitability/ compliance of Vehicles to Customer and Legislative requirements, as well as ensuring the product is fitted to Vehicles in accordance with specified plans, meeting Customer, Quality and Safety requirements.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Pre-Delivery tasks/ inspections in accordance with set instructions/ standards
  • Fit-out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
  • Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
  • Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work
  • Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time

ABOUT YOU:

  • Mechanical Trade (or part thereof) qualified preferred but not necessary
  • General automotive diagnostic and automotive accessory fitment experience required
  • Dealership servicing experience ideal but not necessary
  • Experience in servicing all makes and models ideal but not necessary
  • A good eye for detail and problem-solving skills highly sought after
  • Diagnostic problem solving ability
  • Manual Open Drivers licence a pre-requisite to employment
