The Position:
Due to recent growth, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Team Member to join our team based in Minto.
As a Vehicle Accessory Fitter, you will be working on a range of brand-new fleet vehicles. Fitting and customizing aftermarket accessories, to prepare vehicles for delivery to our customers.
A mechanical or auto-electrical background is desired; however, if you have a mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude and are keen to learn, we will provide the training and support to shape your career. If you like a great culture APPLY NOW!
What you will do:
- Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
- Perform Pre-Delivery tasks/inspections in accordance with set instructions/standards
- Perform fit-out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
- Fitting and wiring a range of vehicle accessories and equipment
- Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work
- Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time
- Report all damages, faulty equipment or accidents when caused or found
- Ensure that vehicles are parked in compliance with customer needs
What you will bring:
- Must have a manual driver's license
- Strong attention to detail & safety-first mindset
- Experience in the use of hand and power tools
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle a range of automotive parts and accessories (sports bars, bumper bars etc)
Nice to have:
- Experience in vehicle accessory fitments, beneficial
- Mechanical/ electrical aptitude an advantage
