The Position
An exciting opportunity for a proactive Team Leader to assist in planning, leading, and ensuring the Site operations run effectively and efficiently over the critical Night Shift Period. Working closely with the Processing Supervisor and Operations Manager you will be responsible with setting up and running several departmental teams covering General Processing, Fitment, Preservation and Despatch.
What you will do:
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate customer order fulfilment.
- Ensure all dispatch processes, procedures, and customer instructions are followed consistently.
- Lead and support the dispatch team to achieve operational targets, KPIs, quality standards, and service expectations.
- Conduct daily start-up meetings to communicate priorities, expectations, and operational updates.
- Monitor team performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement actions to enhance productivity.
- Manage workflow, labour allocation, and rostering to optimise efficiency, minimise costs, and meet operational demands.
- Ensure vehicles are correctly positioned, parked, and processed in line with dispatch requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Conduct quality checks, support audits, and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.
- Provide training, coaching, mentoring, and cross-training opportunities to develop team capability and address skill gaps.
- Monitor compliance with operational procedures, quality assurance systems, and safety requirements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across departments to support smooth business operations.

- Show initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
- Prior experience in the auto industry advantageous
- Mechanical / electrical aptitude advantageous
- Ability to utilise Microsoft Office and Excell to a proficient level
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
