The Position:

We are hiring a Commercial Analyst for our Commercial Team to develop, enhance, and manage reporting suites for executive and cross-functional stakeholders. This role involves analyzing data to identify trends, improving operational and financial performance, and providing actionable insights to meet company targets. 

What you will do:

• Develop, maintain, and automate accurate dashboards and reports for internal/external stakeholders to monitor business performance 
• Analyse spends and commercial data to generate actionable insights 
• Extract, manipulate, and analyse data to support ad-hoc queries and reporting requirements
• Conduct commercial analysis, price modelling, and cost analysis for new business tenders and existing operations 
• Maintain, audit, and update customer/subcontractor rate cards and pricing elements in the operating system 
• Develop rate calculators and support rate queries from Customer Service Teams 
• Provide management support for ad-hoc queries, data requests, and report generation 
• Evaluate and implement proprietary KPI methodologies to improve efficiency 
• Analyse automotive industry trends to provide recommendations for future business decisions 
• Perform system administration, including rate uploads, invoice reconciliation, and quote registration
• Run training workshops to educate stakeholders on new analytics products, solutions, and updates 
• Align reporting across teams to improve consistency and visibility

What you will bring:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Experienced at data extraction, data cleansing and data visualisation & communication
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative information
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and consistent reporting of data
• Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office products with a high level of expertise in the use of excel, access & SQL
• Experienced on the commercial side, and decidedly "hands-on" and not just theoretical
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Experience with data relating to customer management, business operational performance and improvement
• Self-organised with the ability to operate independently and deliver quality work

Nice to have:

• Exposure to SQL would be advantageous
• Exposure to Transport and Logistics industry is desirable
