We are currently seeking a seasoned Motor Vehicle Claims and Insurance professional to manage all insurance claims and work closely with appointed insurer. This role will also manage a small team responsible for managing inbound transit damage claims process. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 5 Claims Officers, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to handle tasks efficiently
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between PrixCar and external insurance providers
  • Complete understanding of all current policies, aggregate amounts, and processes
  • Review all Motor Vehicle accidents raised in Rapid and raise claim with insurer when necessary
  • Ensure that all transit damage claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in within 5 business days
  • Work closely with state branches and driver managers to investigate accidents, collate insurer required documentation
  • Maintain high standards of record keeping and file notes
  • Assist claims officers with processing of inbound transit damage claims – documenting, investigating, and supplying customer with resolution
  • Manage Claims inbox by categorising inbound claims and queries
  • Assist Claims Officers with customer responses when necessary and guidance is required
  • Continually reviewing processes to identify inefficiencies and develop process improvements

About you:

  • Ideally have minimum of 3 years experience in similar role  
  • Proven expertise in logistics and motor liability insurance
  • Exceptional time management and investigation skills
  • Customer focused mindset that builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear, team focused approach
  • Superior attention to detail and disciplined time management skills are essential
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible - ability to multi-task and adapt to changing work requirements
