With more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Despatch Supervisor to join our team, ensuing a smooth integration within the Despatch function. The role will oversee the operations at out Altona North and Webb Dock branches.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning of all despatch vehicles to ensure that the labour planning matches the requirements of the production schedule
- Leading and supervising the Despatch team
- Setting out processes for smooth workflow between the Transport and Processing teams
- Implementing training for personnel and monitor skill levels as required
- Overseeing the despatch functions across the Altona North and Webb Dock sites
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the branch
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient numeracy, literacy and computer skills
- Positive, helpful attitude, enthusiastic and possess a strong work ethic
- A strong understanding of OHS requirements in the workplace
- Negotiation skills and can effectively interact with various personalities
- Flexible - ability to multi-task and adapt to changing work requirements
- Exceptional time management and problem solving skills
