We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our high-performing team. Reporting to the General Manager – HR & HSEQ, you will play a key role in delivering strategic HR initiatives while providing hands-on support across the business.
This role is ideal for a confident HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys partnering with leaders to drive performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational HR support aligned with the organisation’s business objectives.

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with legislation and best practice.

Partner with leaders to provide guidance on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Manage employee relations in a unionised, EBA-covered environment, ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements and industrial relations frameworks.

Support and contribute to Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations and broader workforce planning initiatives.

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes and support retention and talent development strategies.

Support organisational development initiatives including succession planning, training coordination, and performance review processes.

Lead or support workplace investigations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary matters while ensuring fair and compliant processes.

Collaborate with managers and union representatives to manage industrial relations matters and maintain productive working relationships.

Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports to support data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with relevant awards, EBAs, and employment legislation including privacy, EEO, and diversity requirements.

Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.
Skills & Experience
-
3–5 years’ experience in a Human Resources Generalist or HR Manager role.

Experience working in a unionised and EBA-covered environment.

Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a standalone HR role, ideally within a multi-site organisation.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.

Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, practical HR advice.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
