PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage, with more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.
THE POSITION
As a result of recent growth and new contracts, opportunity exist for motivated and eager individual to join our team.
What you will do:
- Coordinate the daily despatch schedule to ensure on time customer order fulfilment
- Assist in the development of the cost and time effective measures through innovative thinking
- Lead the team to achieve KPIs
- Assist in the development, training, coaching, mentoring required and identify any training gaps
- Assisting in balancing workflow, optimise productivity, labour efficiencies and minimise labour costs
- Ensure that day to day operational issues are effectively responded to and escalated as required
- Assist in promoting efficiency improvements to processing work practices
- Assist in ensuring work practices achieve highest safety and appropriate quality and productivity levels and targets
- Ensure that quality assurance systems are adhered to at all times
- Manage effective relationships between departments
- Ensure despatch team perform the specified operations to customer vehicles in accordance with despatch instructions
What you will bring:
- A solid understanding of quality processes and standards
- Experience leading teams
- A hands-on approach to leadership, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Commitment to safety and delivering top-quality work
- Reliable and a dedicated person with drive and energy
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service
- Well presented, professional with an attitude to succeed
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Show initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
- Prior experience in the auto industry advantageous
- Mechanical / electrical aptitude advantageous
- Ability to utilise Microsoft Office and Excell to a proficient level
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
