provider to the automotive industry, covering all vehicle processing, transport and storage needs.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Spray Painter to join our professional paint shop team in Altona North.

In this role, you will work on both new and used vehicles, delivering high-quality paint finishes to the highest standards. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong commitment to workmanship, and pride in producing outstanding results.

About the role:

  • High quality spray application of Primers, Sealers, Basecoats, and Clearcoats
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and damage repair
  • Match paint colours as required
  • Ensure all painted surfaces are free of defects, touch-ups as required
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete scheduled workload efficiently and effectively
  • Operate and maintain spray painting equipment

What you will bring:

  • Must be Trade qualified – Automotive Refinishing
  • Additional Automotive Trade Experience will be highly regarded
  • Colour matching experience
  • Experience with water based paint systems
  • Minor paint repairs and buffing skills, essential
  • PDR ability and experience will be highly considered
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work in a team as well as unsupervised
  • Be flexible with working hours to meet demand where requested
  • Honest and reliable work ethic
  • Must have a valid unrestricted drivers license
  • Excellent communication skills
