THE POSITION
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. Working from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and supervising labour, vehicle production and facilities to ensure our operations run safely, efficiently and effectively.
This role is suitable for someone who has previous experience in handling Yard vehicle movements and leading a team.
What you will do:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the afternoon shift across Transport Despatch and VPC Operations.
- Plan and coordinate labour to maximise productivity and control costs.
- Monitor operational performance against safety, quality and productivity KPIs.
- Coordinate workflow between Transport and Processing teams to ensure smooth operations and shift handovers.
- Manage overtime and casual/contractor requirements in line with operational demand.
- Drive accountability, continuous improvement and a strong Safety, Quality and Customer Service culture.
- Coach, develop and engage team members to achieve operational outcomes.
What you will bring:
- Previous supervisory or operational leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong people leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to coach, influence and manage performance.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Sound understanding of safety, quality and operational processes.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- A reliable, proactive and energetic approach, with a strong commitment to delivering results.
- Flexibility and initiative to respond to changing operational demands.
